وصل رئيس الجمهورية العماد جوزاف عون عند التاسعة والنصف قبل ظهر اليوم الى القاهرة آتيا من الرياض، يرافقه وزير الخارجية والمغتربين يوسف رجي، للمشاركة في القمة العربية غير العادية المخصصة لبحث القضية الفلسطينية. و من المقرر ان يكون للرئيس عون في مقر اقامته في فندق توليب، عدد من اللقاءات الرسمية قبل بدء انعقاد القمة.

رأى نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء السابق النائب غسان حاصباني في حديث إذاعي أنّه "في غياب الاستقرار لا مساعدات أكثر من المساعدات الإنسانية البسيطة التي تأتي في خلال الحروب والمجاعات، أما المساعدات الفعليّة لإعادة الإعمار فهي عادة تكون مشروطة أقلّه بضمانات للاستقرار". كما اعتبر أن "حزب الله زجّ لبنان في حرب من دون أن يأخذ في الحسبان القدرات المالية والعسكرية وغيرها للدولة اللبنانية، وبالتالي لا تستطيع الدولة بقدراتها الذاتية مساعدة أهل الجنوب، لأنها في حال اقتصادية مزرية وكانت أساساً بحاجة إلى دعم دولي لتتعافى، لذا لا يمكن لوم الدولة على تقصيرها". بالنسبة إلى إصلاحات الحكومة الجديدة، أكد أنّ "هناك إصلاحات لا تحتاج إلى وقت كالتحصيل الجمركي ووقف التهريب على الحدود الشرعية وضبط الحدود والبدء تدريجياً بتطبيق اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار والقرار 1701، وهي تُظهر نية الحكومة وقدراتها، فتأتي المساعدات والدع...
